Grannys Chicken Noddle Soup
Ingredients
Soup
- 2 quarts water
- 2 cups cooked chicken
- 1 ribs celery
- 1/2 onion
- 1 carrots
- 1/4 cup Watkins chicken soup base
- 1/4 tsp garlic salt
Noodles
- 2-3 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups four
Instructions
Soup
- combine water celery and spices to a rolling boil
- add carrots and bring to boil
- add chicken peices to soup and bring to boil and simmer at least 1 hour
- the longer the better add noodles a few at a time until all are added
- let simmer for at least 30 min
Noodles
- mix eggs and flourwith mixer untill very elastic but not to sticky
- divide in half roll out as thin as possible
- let the dough dry over chair back
- do the same with the second half
- dust with flour and roll into a tube
- cut the tube into 1/2 in strips let dry over pasta rack
- the longer they dry the better
- repeat the process with the other half
