Grannys Chicken Noddle Soup

Ingredients

Soup

  • 2 quarts water
  • 2 cups cooked chicken
  • 1 ribs celery
  • 1/2 onion
  • 1 carrots
  • 1/4 cup Watkins chicken soup base
  • 1/4 tsp garlic salt

Noodles

  • 2-3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups four

Instructions

Soup

  • combine water celery and spices to a rolling boil
  • add carrots and bring to boil
  • add chicken peices to soup and bring to boil and simmer at least 1 hour
  • the longer the better add noodles a few at a time until all are added
  • let simmer for at least 30 min

Noodles

  • mix eggs and flourwith mixer untill very elastic but not to sticky
  • divide in half roll out as thin as possible
  • let the dough dry over chair back
  • do the same with the second half
  • dust with flour and roll into a tube
  • cut the tube into 1/2 in strips let dry over pasta rack
  • the longer they dry the better
  • repeat the process with the other half
