Flour Tortillas

Ingredients

  • 4 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup crisco
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup water may need a little more to make soft dough

Instructions

  • mix all ingredients
  • knead until smooth
  • shape into balls press straight on till thickness desired with heavy pan bottom
  • cook on hot griddle until lightly brown on both sides
  • Keep tortillas covered so they don't dry out
