Ingredients

  • 12-13.5 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp salt
  • 2/3 cup dry milk
  • 4 tbsp active yeast
  • 1/2 cup softened margarene
  • 4 cups warm water (120-130 degree )

Instructions

  • in a large bowl mix 4 cup flour, sugar, salt, dry milk, and yeast
  • gradually add warm water to dry ingredients and beat 2 min at med speed.
  • scape bowl occationally
  • add 1 1/2 cup flour beat at high speed
  • stir in additional flour to make stiff dough
  • turn out onto lightly floured board
  • need until smooth and elastic, about 15 min
  • cover with a towel and rest for 15 min
  • divide dough into 4 equal portions
  • form into smooth round ball
  • flatten each ball into a mound about 6 inches in diameter
  • place in greased packing sheets
  • cover with plastic wrap
  • freeze until firm freeze upto 4 weeks
  • remove from freezer until thawed (about 4 hours)
  • Roll into 12 x 8 inches.
  • shape into loaves.
  • place in greased 8 1/2 x 4 1/2x 2 1/2 inch loaf pan
  • let rise in warm place until doubled in height (about 1.4 hrs)
  • bake at 350 for about 35 min. or untill done
  • remove from pan and cool on wire racks.
