Double Chocolate Chip Cookie

Ingredients

  • 1 cup softened butter
  • 1 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cup flour
  • 2/3 cup cocoa
  • 3/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts optional

Instructions

  • preheat oven to 350
  • in large mixer bowl beat butter, sugar eggs and vanilla until light and fluffy
  • stir together flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt
  • add to butter mixture
  • stir in chocolate chips and nuts (optional)
  • drop by rounded teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheet
  • bake 8 – 10 min or just until set
  • cool slightly
  • remove to wire rack cool completely
