Double Chocolate Chip Cookie
Ingredients
- 1 cup softened butter
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 2 cup flour
- 2/3 cup cocoa
- 3/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts optional
Instructions
- preheat oven to 350
- in large mixer bowl beat butter, sugar eggs and vanilla until light and fluffy
- stir together flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt
- add to butter mixture
- stir in chocolate chips and nuts (optional)
- drop by rounded teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheet
- bake 8 - 10 min or just until set
- cool slightly
- remove to wire rack cool completely
