Gluten free Brownies

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup Dutch-process cocoa (mine is Guittard Cocoa Rouge Cocoa Powder)
  • 1 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup King Arthur gluten-free measure for measure flour
  • 3 lrg eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tbsp water

optional

  • 1 cup diced pecans or walnuts
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips

Instructions

  • preheat oven to 350
    lightly grease a 8' or 9 " square pan
  • whisk together cocoa, sugar, salt baking powder flour (and optional stuff ( I add dark chips)
  • stir in egg, oil and water until evenly blended
  • spoon in the mixture into the pan smothing to top
  • bake brownies for 45 min (in an 8 " pan) or 35 min (in a 9" pan) can be adjusted depending on doneness you like.
  • cool on rack for 1 hour before slicing
