Lemon Drop Cookies
Ingredients
- 2 cup sugar
 - 1 1/2 cup crisco butter flavored
 - 3 lrg eggs
 - 2 tsp vanilla
 - 1 tsp lemon extract
 - 4 cup flour
 - 1 1/2 tsp Baking soda
 - 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
 - 1 tsp salt
 - 1 finaly chopped lemmons , zest of
 - 3/4 cup leamon heads crushed We use bizzer to crush them
 - 1 cup powdered sugar
 - 1 juice of 1 lemon
 
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350
 - cream sugar. shortening, eggs and the extracts
 - stir in dry ingredient, lemon zest, and crushed lemon heads
 - Roll into 1 inch balls, flatten slightly on parchment lined baking sheet (cooking spray works also)
 - bake for 7-8 min
 - let cool on pan 1-2 minutes
 - Make glazeby mixing powdered sugar with lemon juice
 - Brush lightly over tops of cookies
 - Let stand to cool completly
