Blackjack brisket
Ingredients
- 10 lbs beef brisket
- 12 ounce soda pop optional
- 1 large onion quartered
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tbsp pepper
- 36 ounce hickory smoke bbq sauce
- 1 cup molasses
- 2 tbsp liquid smoke
Instructions
- preheat to 250
- Place brisket in roasting pan
- Pour pop over meat place onions on top of meat
- Season meat with the spices
- Combine molasses and smoke pour over roast
- Cover with aluminum foil
- Bake for 6-8 hours or until pork is fork tender
