Classic Spritz Cookies

Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp no color almond extract
  • 1 tsp clear vanilla

Instructions

  • in a bowl combine flour and baking soda and wisk together
  • in another bowl beat butter and sugar till light and fluffy
  • add egg milk, vanilla and almond extract
  • gradually add flour mixture to butter mixture
  • do not chill
  • fill cookie dough into press and place on ungreased cookie sheet
  • bake for 10 - 12 min or until edges are light golden brown
  • cool 2 min on cookie cooling rack cool completely
  • if decorate to your liking, if desired
