put pops in very large bowl
put butter, sugar, and syrup in large sauce pan
bring to boil then add baking soda
remove from heat and caramel will become frothy
pour over pops and toss to coat well
spread into lagre cookie sheet
bake for 10 min at 250
remove from oven and stir and toss
put back into oven and bake another 10 min
spread out onto wax paper until cool
store in baggies
