Caramel Slurry

Ingredients

  • 8 ounce corn pops
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup corn syrup
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp baking soda

Instructions

  • put pops in very large bowl
  • put butter, sugar, and syrup in large sauce pan
  • bring to boil then add baking soda
  • remove from heat and caramel will become frothy
  • pour over pops and toss to coat well
  • spread into lagre cookie sheet
  • bake for 10 min at 250
  • remove from oven and stir and toss
  • put back into oven and bake another 10 min
  • spread out onto wax paper until cool
  • store in baggies
