Ingredients
- 1 lbs ground beef
- 4 tsp oil
- 1 small onion finely chopped
- 1/2 garlic minced
- 2 tsp flour
- 2/3 cup beef stock
- 4 tsp tomato paste
- 1 carrot chopped
- 1/4 tsp salt
- pepper to taste
- 3 potatoes
Instructions
- brown the meat and drain
- add oil and onion saute until brown
- return meat a stir in slowly pour in stock while stirring
- add paste, carrots, salt and pepper
- raise heat to simmer and cook until filling is thick and bubbling about 15 min
- make mashed potatoes
- pour meat fixings into 9" baking dish
- spoon potatoes on top of mixture
- bake at 350 until pots are golden brown about 45 min
- sprinkle cheese on after about 20 min
