Pansy Cookies
Ingredients
C1ookies
- 4 cup flour
- 1 cup butter
- 2 slightly beaten eggs
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
Topping
- 1 egg whites
- some sugar
- some pansies or other edible flower
Instructions
Step one (the dough)
- in a large bowl beat butter on med speed
- gradually add sugar
- add eggs
- beat until fluffy
- on low add vanilla, salt, and baking powder
- divide dough into 2 pieces and wrap in plastic
- place in refrigerator for at least 30 min
Creating the cookie
- line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper
- lightly beaat the egg whites
- on floured surface roll dough out into about 1/4 inch thickness
- cut into circles place flour on top the cookie
- brush with egg wash and sprinkle sugar
- bake for 8 to 10 min. cool cover in container when cool may also be frozen
