Sweet and Sour Meaballs
Ingredients
Meatballs
- 1 lbs ground beef
- 1/2 cup crushed soda crackers
- 1/3 cup minced onions
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp worchestershire sauce
Sauce
- 12 ounce chili sauce
- 10 ounce grape jelly
Instructions
- mix meatballs
- gently shape into 1 inch balls
- Brown in large skillet
- remove meatballs from skillet, pour off fat
- combine chili sauce and grape jelly in skillet
- stir constantly until jelly is melted
- add the cooked meatballs and stir until coated thoroughly
- simmer uncovered 30 min
Notes
can put in freezer after adding the meatballs
We also put in crockpot to simmer for several hours.
can substitute 18 ounces of Little Smokes Cocktail Sausages
