Lemon Curd Egg cookies
Ingredients
- 1 batch sugar cookies
- 1 tbsp lemon zest
- 1 2" egg cookie cutter
- 1 1/2" round cookie cutter
- 1/2 cup butter (room temp)
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 11 -12 ounce jar lemon curd
Instructions
- prepare cookie dough
- add lemon zest to butter and sugar
- cut cookies into egg shape
- cut out center with round on half the cookies
- bake cookies
- prepare frosting by adding sugar, butter, salt, and vanilla
- add to cookies with out the holes
- place cookies with the holes on top
- fill each hole with the lemon curd
- dust with powdered sugar
