Italian Pizzelles
Servings 30 each
Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 3/4 cup flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp anise seed
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
Instructions
- beat egg and sugar
- add cooled melted butter, vanilla, and anise
- add sifted flour and salt
- batter should be stiff enough to be dropped by spoon
- place on pizzele waffle maker and cook for a few seconds until done
