Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 3/4 cup flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp anise seed
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Instructions

  • beat egg and sugar
  • add cooled melted butter, vanilla, and anise
  • add sifted flour and salt
  • batter should be stiff enough to be dropped by spoon
  • place on pizzele waffle maker and cook for a few seconds until done
