Spicy Shrimp on a Skewer

Ingredients

  • 1 -2 lbs lrg shrimp (raw)
  • 2 chopped chipotte peppers (in adobe sauce)
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp honey (creamy)
  • 6 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 juiced lime

Instructions

  • mix everything but the shrimp together
  • merinade the shrimp in the sauce for 10 hrs
  • soak wooden skewers in water for 60 min
  • put shrimp on the skewers (4 jumbo)
  • add mesquite seasoning
  • grill on on the indirect side grill for 1 1/2 min to opaque on each side
  • turn every min or so
