Banana Crunch Cake
Equipment
- 10" bundt pan
Ingredients
- 5 tbsp softened butter
- 1 pkg dry mix of coconut pecan frosting
- 1 cup oatmeal
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 large smashed banana
- 1 pkg yellow cake mix
Coconut Pecan Frosting substitute
- 1 cup oatmeal
- 1/2 cup copped pecans
- 1/2 cup coconut
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 5 tbsp butter cold
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350
- grease and flour 10 " bundt pan
- combine oatmeal and frosting dry mix
- melt butter pour over oatmeal mix. stur till crumbly
- mix sour cream and banana in another bowl
- in another bowl mix the yellow cake mix according to directions
- blend banana mixture into cake mix
- sprinkle 1/3 cup oatmeal mixture into bundt pan
- pour 1/2 of the cake mix into the bundt pan
- repeat process ending with a layer of the oatmeal
- bake for 50 – 60 min
- cool for 15 min and remove from pans so that the crumbs are on top
Coconut frosting Substitute
- mix dry ingredients
- add 3 tbsp butter adn cut in
- After all mix istogether and crumbly
- Mix in 2 tbsp melted butter
