GingerBread Boys
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 1/2 cup flour
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 3/4 tsp ginger
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/8 tsp Allspice
Instructions
- cream shortening and sugar
- blend in molasses, water
- flour, salt, soda,and spices
- chill in refrigerator for @ least 3 hrs
- preheat oven to 375
- roll out he dough to 1/4 inch thick on floured board
- cut out the shapes with cookie cutter
- bake on ungreased sheet for 10 - 12 min
- remove and cool
- decorate
