Sausage Soup
Ingredients
- 1/2 lbs italian sausage
- 1/2 cup onion
- 1 lg carrot peeled
- 1/2 tbsp garlic
- 1/8 tsp red pepper flakes
- 3 cup chicken broth
- 1 can cannellini beans drained and rinsed
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 1/2 ounce ditalini pasta
- 1 can grean beans
- 1/2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 can diced tomatos with seasoning
Instructions
- cut carrot into quaters lenth wise then into 1/4 inches
- heat 5 quart pan
- add sausage, chopped onions and carrots
- cook 8 to 10 min then add garlic and pepper flakes coop 1 to 2 min
- add broth, beans, and toms
- heat to boil then reduce to simmer
- cook on simmer for 10 min
- add pasta cook 8 – 10 min
Notes
can substitute 1 1/2 cup baby spinach coarsely chopped for the green beans
