Almond Pear Tart
Ingredients
Crust
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 5 tbsp soft butter
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 tsp almond extract
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup almond flour
Filling
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp Plus 2 tsp flour
- 1/4 tsp almond extract
- 2 egg
- 3/4 cup almond flour
- 5 pear halves
Topping
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp white course sugar
Instructions
Pie Crust
- beat together sugar, butter,salt and flavors
- add flour stirring until crumbles form
- press into pan and stab with fork
- freeze for 15 min
- bake at 350 for 15 min
Filling
- beat butter, salt, and sugar
- And regular flour and almond extract
- beat in eggs
- add almond flour
- stirring until just combined
- place on the crust
- place pears in top pressing gently into the filling
- brush pears with melted butter
- sprinkle with sugar
- bake at 350 for 30 to 40 min until top is lightly browned
