Priazzo

Ingredients

Filling

  • 2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1/2 lbs cooked sausage
  • 1 link italian sausage
  • 2 ounce pepperoni
  • 4 ounce grated mozzarella
  • 2 ounce grated cheddar cheese

Crust

  • 1 pkg dry active yeast
  • 2 tbsp warm water
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 2 tbsp shortening
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp sugar

Instructions

  • bring 1 cup water to boil
  • add shortening salt and sugar and let cool to luke warm
  • add yeast and 2 tbsp warm water
  • add 3 cup flour and need
  • raise in greased bowl for 1/2 hour
  • punch down and let raise againg for 1/2 hour
  • punch down again and roll into t pie crusts
  • place 1 crust into deep dish pie plate
  • place thin layer of sausage and cheese on crust
  • combine most of the cheese and meats in a bowl
  • add enough sauce to make mixture thick but not runny
  • pour over crust
  • place second layer of crust on top
  • pour remaining sauce over crust as you normaly would
  • sprinle remaining cheese over the top
  • bake for about 45 min at 375
  • cool 5 min before serving
